Sponsorship
Established in 2000, the Lelung Dharma Trust has been helping Tibetans in a number of areas including creating greater awareness of Tibetan Buddhist culture and religion, organising teaching and meditation courses, and providing sponsorship of education to young monks.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been receiving increased requests for support from Tibetan communities, especially from India. In response, the Trust is now giving its priority to support the education and welfare needs of Tibetan school children and university students.
100% of funds received from the sponsors will be transferred to our partner institutions for the sponsored individuals.
Our sponsorship schemes:
School children: £15 per month (£180 per annum)
Monks / Nuns: £15 per month (£180 per annum)
Elderly: £10 per month (£120 per annum)
University students: £500 per annum
