Lelung Dharma Centre

The Lelung Dharma Centre has been in its present form in Eastcote in Pinner, Middlesex since June 2010.

It is located within a parade of shops in a busy high street and is comprised of a Charity Shop at the front, behind which is a traditional Tibetan shrine, an extensive library, a tea room/meeting room, kitchen and Lelung Rinpoche’s office.

On most Monday evenings at 7.30pm, after Tibetan prayers, Lelung Rinpoche teaches on some aspect of Buddhist philosophy in the shrine followed by a short meditation and then tea.

On Wednesdays evenings at 7pm the shrine is open for silent sitting meditation for an hour.

These evenings are open to everyone who is interested, Buddhist and non Buddhist alike and the shrine room is open every day for anyone wishing to take some time out, for prayer or quiet contemplation

Lelung Rinpoche has always made it clear that the Centre is not there to recruit Buddhists or to try to convert anyone to Buddhism but to try to be an asset to the local community by helping people to find some peace and happiness in their busy and sometimes troubled lives. Also to facilitate those who have an interest in Buddhist philosophy and want to know more.

Many people come for a one to one chat with Rinpoche, sometimes to ask advice or to talk over their problems.
