Help Us Extend Peace House

Lelung Dharma Trust is raising funds to extend Peace House, our Buddhist Dharma centre in North Harrow.

Peace House has become an important place for Buddhist teachings, meditation and community activities. We also welcome local schools to learn about Buddhism and Buddhist culture, and over 2,000 students have visited us to date. We are also members of the Harrow Interfaith Network, helping to promote greater understanding, respect and harmony within our local community.

Why we need your help

Our current building can no longer fully meet the needs of our growing community. The extension will provide:•⁠  ⁠Accommodation for resident monks, allowing the temple to open on a daily basis

•⁠  ⁠Essential administrative office and storage space

•⁠  ⁠An office with a suitable changing area for our teacher, H.E. Lelung Rinpoche

•⁠  ⁠A welcoming waiting area for visitors

•⁠  ⁠A library

•⁠  ⁠A large room that can be hired by yoga, Tai Chi and other community groups, helping to generate income towards our ongoing running costs

The Peace House Extension Project has continued to make good progress, with H.E. Lelung Rinpoche actively involved in the project. 

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have raised sufficient funds to bring the project to its current stage. We now need to raise a further £150,000 to complete the project.
