Help Us Extend Peace House

Lelung Dharma Trust is raising funds to extend Peace House, our Buddhist Dharma centre in North Harrow.

Peace House has become an important place for Buddhist teachings, meditation and community activities. We also welcome local schools to learn about Buddhism - more than 1,000 students visited us in the last year alone - and work with the Harrow Interfaith Network to promote understanding and harmony.

Why we need your help

Our current building can no longer fully meet the needs of our growing community. The extension will provide:

  • Accommodation for a resident monk, allowing the temple to open daily

  • Essential office and storage space

  • A proper changing area for our teacher, H.E. Lelung Rinpoche

  • A welcoming waiting area and shoe storage

  • A library

  • Additional space that can be hired to yoga, Tai Chi and other community groups, helping generate income towards our running costs

The Peace House Extension project has continued to progress, and Rinpoche is back in the UK and actively involved again. We have raised and spent considerable funds, but we now need a further £150,000 to complete the project.
